BudgetPair Privacy Policy

BudgetPair ("BudgetPair," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how BudgetPair handles information when you use our budgeting application.

Information You Provide

BudgetPair may store information you enter into the app, including:

• Budget categories and monthly budget amounts
• Income, expenses, bills, savings, investments, and debt entries
• Subscription and recurring bill information
• Savings goals, emergency fund details, and net worth entries
• Profile names, partner names, and app preferences

This information is used to provide budgeting, reporting, forecasting, and account customization features inside the app.

Local Storage

BudgetPair is currently a local-first app. Your financial data is primarily stored on your device. We do not sell your financial data or use it for advertising.

If you delete the app, reset app data, lose your device, or clear local storage, your local BudgetPair data may be lost unless you have exported or otherwise backed it up.

Couples Sync

If you use Couples Sync, selected budget data may be shared with your connected partner so both devices can view and update shared budgeting information. Couples Sync is only enabled when you choose to create or join a sync room.

You should only share invite codes with someone you trust.

In-App Purchases

BudgetPair uses RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and Pro access. RevenueCat may process purchase receipts, product identifiers, device identifiers, and purchase status information. RevenueCat does not need access to your detailed financial entries to manage purchase status.

Apple App Store

If you purchase BudgetPair Pro through Apple, Apple may process payment information according to Apple's privacy policy and App Store terms. BudgetPair does not receive your full payment card details.

No Advertising Sale of Data

BudgetPair does not sell your personal financial data. BudgetPair does not include third-party advertising SDKs for targeted advertising.

Data Security

We use reasonable technical measures available through the app platform to protect data stored by the app. However, no method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure.

Children's Privacy

BudgetPair is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your Choices

You can:

• Edit or delete entries inside the app
• Reset all app data from Settings
• Disconnect from Couples Sync
• Export supported data where export features are available
• Stop using the app at any time

Future Cloud Backup

BudgetPair may add optional cloud backup in the future. If cloud backup is added, this Privacy Policy will be updated to explain what data is stored in the cloud, how it is protected, and how users can manage or delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and may provide additional notice inside the app or on our website.
